Anil Arora, father of Hollywood actress Malaika Arora, has committed suicide by jumping from a building.
According to NDTV report, Anil Arora, father of Indian actress and dancer Malaika Arora, committed suicide by jumping from his apartment in Bandra area of Mumbai city.
Police say preliminary investigation points to Anil Arora’s death as a suicide, the actress’s father jumped from his apartment at 9pm.
Malaika Arora’s ex-husband Arbaaz Khan and senior police officials reached the spot, according to the police, the body has been sent for post-mortem while the investigation is on.
Malaika Arora’s father was employed in the Indian Merchant Navy, when the actress was eleven years old when her parents divorced, Malaika moved to Chambor with her mother and sister Amrita Arora.
According to an Indian non-official news agency, Malaika spoke about her parents’ divorce. The actress said that she was 11 years old when her parents got divorced. Although her childhood was ‘wonderful’, it was not easy. The actress described it as ‘tumultuous’.
The actress said on her parents’ separation that the divorce between my parents gave me an opportunity to see my mother in a new light.
It should be noted that earlier the actress was in discussion regarding the news of ‘breakup’ with Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor, the news of Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor’s distance was also circulating on social media.
In the month of July this year, Malaika Arora went on vacation to Spain, where she was accompanied by an unknown person, who was also claimed to be the new boyfriend of the Indian social media actress.
The actress was married to actor Arbaaz Khan before her relationship with Arjun Kapoor, while she is also the mother of son Arhaan Khan.
